Wyoming Whiskey – Double Cask Limited Edition

Wyoming Whiskey Double Cask is a limited edition bourbon that is matured twice. It spends its first five years in new charred oak barrels, which is what makes it a bourbon. It then goes into decades-old casks that were seasoned with Pedro Ximenez sherry for a second maturation, which adds a touch of sweetness. The colour runs from copper to mahogany. The nose brings dried apricot, mission fig and dried date. On the palate are stewed prune, black raisin and candied orange peel, with vanilla butter cream and toffee underneath. The finish carries dark dried fruit and warming brown baking spices.
