This is a 30 year old single cask Macallan from Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its Xtra Old Particular range. It was distilled in May 1993 and bottled in March 2024, having matured in a refill barrel.
Fred Laing selected the cask to launch the Chairman's Choice collection. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.1% ABV, with no colouring and no chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. Only 246 bottles were filled.
