This is a Japanese single malt whisky from Yamato, in the Takeda Shingen Edition, matured in Mizunara casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
Yamato is made in the softer, smoother and less smoky style that Japanese drinkers have tended to prefer, and it suits drinking neat, over ice or in a highball.
It is described as having fruit and vanilla from the first sip, followed by a silky smooth finish.
