A 12-year-old Japanese single malt from the Yamazaki distillery, which was founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii near Kyoto and is described as the oldest distillery in Japan. The nose brings ripe fruit, nuts and honey, with delicate floral notes and a faint hint of smoke. On the palate there are dried fruit, vanilla and gentle spice, leading to a long, silky finish.
