Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt whisky made by Suntory at the Yamazaki Distillery, the oldest malt whisky distillery in Japan. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
After 12 years of maturation in American oak, sherry casks and Japanese Mizunara oak, the whisky shows the influence of Mizunara.
It is usually described as refined and balanced, with a delicate fruit character.
