Yamazaki Puncheon 2013 is a Japanese single malt from the Yamazaki distillery in Shimamoto, Osaka. It was aged in a 480-litre puncheon cask and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is subtle ripe melon with a hint of dried apricot. The palate brings light oak and vanilla with balanced spice, and the finish is smooth and lingering with a touch of honey.
