Yamazaki The Owner's Cask #ZL3003 is a Japanese whisky distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2005 as a 40th anniversary bottling for the Tokyo Suntory Club, which commissioned it.
It comes from a Spanish oak sherry butt and was bottled at its natural cask strength of 52% in a 70cl bottle. The cask yielded 541 bottles.
It belongs to the Owner's Cask programme, which ran from 2004 to 2010 and let private buyers such as retailers, clubs and collectors select and bottle entire casks of Yamazaki at full strength.
