Yellow Spot is a 12 year old Irish whiskey matured in three types of oak cask: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and Spanish Malaga casks.
The Malaga casks are what set it apart, adding an exotic, sweet note. The whiskey spends the full 12 years in these casks rather than being given a short finish at the end.
Its character is described as complex and sophisticated, with the flavour of juicy red apples.
