Yellow Spot 12 Year Old is an Irish whiskey matured for twelve years in American oak casks, sherry butts and Malaga wine casks.
The mix of cask types shapes the character, with honey, peach and espresso alongside fruit and a little oak.
The nose combines herbs, freshly grated nutmeg, honey and peach. On the palate, sweet honey, espresso, crème brûlée and chocolate alternate with fruity apple. The finish is elegant and long, with malted barley, grapes, and caramel mixed with coffee.
