This is a Yellowstone Kentucky straight bourbon with a 6 year age statement, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). It was distilled in the autumn of 1964 and bottled in the spring of 1971. It carries the Bottled in Bond designation, which under the 1897 Act means the whiskey comes from a single distillery and a single distilling season, and is aged for at least four years in a federally supervised warehouse. The rules also require the seasons and years of distilling and bottling to appear on the label, so this bottle can be dated closely.
