Yellowstone American Single Malt Whiskey (54%)

Yellowstone American Single Malt is a permanent addition to the Yellowstone range, launched in March 2023 by Limestone Branch Distillery of Lebanon, Kentucky, which was founded by Stephen and Paul Beam. The whiskey is distilled and aged in Indiana, then blended and bottled in Kentucky at 54% (108 proof). It is matured in new, deep-charred American oak barrels, rather than the used casks traditional for Scottish single malts. The nose brings fresh bread, cereal malt and toasted grain, with baking spices, honey and nuttiness. The palate is oily, with honey, spiced pear, stone fruit, banana nut bread, toffee and dark dates. The finish is long and warming, with oak tannins, cinnamon and English walnuts.
