Yellowstone Recollection Series is an 8-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 55% ABV (110 proof) without chill filtration. It was produced entirely at Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Marion County, and comes in a 750ml decanter that is filled by hand.
The decanter draws on the pre-Prohibition habit of pouring a barrel's contents into one decorative bottle for the back bar. This release was named in Whisky Advocate's Top 20 Whiskies of the Year for 2025.
The nose offers caramel, toasted oak, crème brûlée and dark cherry. The palate is heavy and oily, with butterscotch, cinnamon candy, mocha and baking spice. The finish is long and warming, with cinnamon, mocha and dark cherry.
