This is a blended whisky, 100 Pipers from the 1970s, in a 75.7cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The nose is direct, with raw cereal, sharp European oak, sweet caramel and vanilla, and a very light background of smoke and peat. The palate is light to medium in body, soft and sweet at first, with sugared water, honey, toasted malt, walnuts and a pepper or clove spice with a trace of smoke.
The finish is short but warm, with caramel sweetness, vanilla and dry toasted oak.
