1800 Cristalino Tequila (75cl, 40%)

This is an añejo cristalino tequila made from 100% hand-harvested Blue Weber agave. It is slow-cooked in stone ovens, double distilled and aged in French and American oak barrels. It is then charcoal-filtered to remove the colour, leaving a clear tequila that keeps the depth of an añejo. It is bottled at 40% vol. in a 75cl bottle. The nose has soft vanilla, toasted oak and caramelised agave, with delicate floral and coconut notes. The palate is smooth and rounded, with toffee, honeyed agave and hints of chocolate and spice. The finish is clean and lingering, with vanilla and oak fading to a polished sweetness.
