1800 Blanco is an unaged tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico, by Casa Cuervo. It is bottled at 38% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The agave is hand-harvested and slow-cooked in stone ovens, then the fermented juice is double distilled in copper stills. With no time in oak, the spirit keeps the raw character of the agave.
On the nose it is freshly cut agave, citrus zest, pepper and herbs. The palate is smooth and lively, with agave sweetness, light mineral notes, crisp pepper spice and a trace of lime. The finish is bright, with gentle warmth and a lingering note of sweet agave.
