A Highland single malt from Glen Garioch, released in the First Cask Series. It was distilled in 1990 and is 20 years old.
The colour is deep gold. On the nose there is toffee and vanilla custard with a little plum spirit, and water brings out minerals, grass and fruit such as grenadine and strawberry pie. The palate is rich and creamy, with gentian, a little peat, ginger, pepper and liquorice. The finish is long, with more liquorice and pepper.
