The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the 1990s, in a 1 litre bottle. Its colour is bright, clear gold.
The nose is rich with creamy vanilla, warm pastry, toffee and fudge, with a hint of aniseed and toasty cereals. The palate is smooth and creamy, with aniseed, dried peels and fudge, and stewed apples that develop as you sip. The finish is long and spiced, with star anise and digestive biscuits.
