23rd Street Single Malt Whisky Limited Edition (70cl)

This is a limited edition single malt from 23rd Street, the first all-Australian whisky release, in a 70cl bottle. The barley is a single variety from southern Queensland. After malting, mashing and fermentation it was distilled in copper pots and filled into ex-bourbon oak barrels, where the warm Riverland climate gently sped up maturation. It is non-chill filtered and light amber in colour. The nose is floral and vanilla, with dried fig and cedar. On the palate come citrus peel, toffee and a mineral note, leading to a buttery length.
