NED Green Sash Reserve is an Australian whisky from NED Whisky, bottled at 44% ABV. The name refers to the green sash Ned Kelly was awarded for saving a boy from drowning, which he wore for the last time at his final stand in 1880.
Aged NED barrels are taken further over oak for extra character. The nose has oak, caramel, vanilla and a hint of almond. The palate brings dark chocolate, sweet vanilla and a punch of oak, then almond and macadamia. The finish is long, with vanilla, milk chocolate, orange peel and oak.
