A barrel proof straight rye from 291 Colorado Whiskey, bottled at 63.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. This is batch 2, with 699 bottles filled.
The rye matured for three years in new, deep-charred American white oak barrels.
The nose brings caramel and toffee, with leather, pipe tobacco, cinnamon and clove, and hints of toasted oak and aspen. The palate is viscous, with clove, toffee, tobacco and toasted oak, followed by black pepper and returning caramel in a long finish.
