2XO American Oak is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. It is the first blend in the Oak Series.
Dixon uses a double oak technique, adding extra charred oak to barrels filled with a mash bill containing a moderate amount of rye. Each batch is matched to the same profile for a consistent character.
It moves from sweet, rich butterscotch at the front to savoury roasted nuts in the middle, and finishes with a lingering mild spice.
