9 Di Dante Purgatorio Vermouth di Torino Superiore Extra Dry

Purgatorio is a Vermouth di Torino Superiore in the Extra Dry style, the second release in the 9 di Dante series inspired by the Divine Comedy. It is made only from Arneis. Though it is a modern vermouth, it keeps to Piedmontese craft tradition. It is dry in character but holds a high level of freshness, and it is meant to be drunk over ice or in a Dry Martini. It is clear, with lemon highlights. The nose offers floral notes, pear and apricot, then citrus and herbs. The palate is round and balanced, freshness set against bitter touches, ending on hints of sage and mint.
