Cask Orkney is a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from A.D. Rattray, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was created to celebrate the Neolithic folklore of Orkney.
The colour is butterscotch gold. The nose brings clover honey, Parma violet, ripe peach and wild heather embers. On the palate there is grilled plum, old-fashioned barley sugar, hops and caraway. The finish is long and peppery with smoke, lifted by tart citrus and pine.
