Aberargie Expressions Golden Promise is a single malt Scotch whisky from Aberargie Distillery in Fife, made entirely from Golden Promise barley, a historic barley variety. The whisky was matured in a combination of 68% bourbon barrels and 32% sherry butts. The distillery is described as a modern Scottish farm distillery with Lowland provenance. The nose is soft and malty, with cereal sweetness, orchard fruit and delicate floral notes. On the palate come creamy barley, honey, vanilla and fresh fruit with subtle spice. The finish is smooth and gently warming, with lingering malt sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
