This is a Scotch single malt from Aberargie, made entirely from Laureate barley, a newer generation of barley chosen for its resilience and flavour. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle at 48.2% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The whisky was matured in 68% first-fill sherry butts and 32% first-fill bourbon casks. It is described as vibrant, with zesty candied orange peel and dried fruits, balanced by clean, crisp ripe orchard fruits and a lasting honeyed finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
