A single malt from Aberargie in Perthshire, bottled at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. This expression is made entirely from the Laureate barley variety.
It matured in first-fill casks: 68% sherry butts and 32% bourbon barrels. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and natural colour.
The nose brings candied orange peel, dried fruit and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is fruity and elegant, with fine sweetness. The finish is long and honeyed, with gentle cask spice.
