Aberargie Golden Promise Edition is a Scotch single malt made solely from Golden Promise barley and bottled at 48.2% ABV. It was matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks, making up 68%, and first-fill sherry casks, making up 32%. Tasting notes describe a rich, full-bodied whisky with layers of buttery pastry, stewed apples and brown sugar, gentle baking spices and a lingering, satisfying finish.
