Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, from a distillery built beside the River Tay in Perthshire in 1898. It was matured in first-fill, refill and re-charred bourbon casks, then finished for six months in first-fill oloroso sherry casks.
The nose opens with honeyed citrus and spicy clove. The palate is full bodied, with rich fruitcake, dark chocolate and gentle warmth, and the finish is smooth and long.
