This 25 year old Aberfeldy is a single malt from the distillery in the Central Highlands, released to mark its 125th anniversary. It matured for over two decades in refill hogsheads and refill butts, then received a further finish in first fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings honey, ripe and dried fruit and warming spice. The palate is rich with fruit, honey, sherry sweetness and gentle spice, and the finish is long and warming, with lingering fruit and spice.
