Aberlour 12 Years is a Speyside single malt aged for 12 years and bottled non-chill filtered, in a 70cl bottle. Skipping chill filtration is said to help the whisky keep its natural flavours and aromas.
The nose has ripe orchard fruit, notably apples and pears, with warm spices and subtle oak. On the palate there is toffee, creamy vanilla and honey, layered with cinnamon and nutmeg, in a velvety, well-rounded texture. The finish is long and warming.
