Aberlour – 16 Years Old - Double Cask Matured is a single malt whisky from Aberlour (Speyside). Aged 16 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. A fruity and spicy release from Aberlour's regular collection, this 16 year old is a superb single malt that, along with its relatively long age, bears the hallmarks of its maturation in a combination of sherry butts and first-fill bourbon casks, bringing opulent, rich flavours alongside its robust, full-bodied spirit character. Bottled at a relatively gentle 40% ABV, this still has plenty of power, and makes a great digestif. Read less
