Aberlour A'Bunadh Alba is a Speyside single malt matured in first-fill American bourbon barrels. It was launched in 2019 and comes in a 750ml bottle.
It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. It is released in batches, and the strength varies from one batch to the next, typically between 58% and 62%.
The nose is honeyed and fruity, with ripe banana, vanilla cream, mango and light oak spice. The palate is full and warming, with honey, tropical fruit, cereal sweetness and bourbon oak. The finish is medium to long and sweet, with vanilla and a gentle, warming fade.
