Aberlour Casg Annamh is a small batch single malt whose name means 'Rare Cask' in Gaelic. This is Batch 1, bottled at 48% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The whisky is aged in first- and second-fill bourbon casks and then finished in sherry casks. The sherry casks are former oloroso casks, and in this batch they include European oak and two types of American oak.
It was designed as an ideal introduction to sherry cask matured whiskies.
