Adelphi Private Reserve (70cl, 46%)

Adelphi Private Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky that pairs a generous share of single malt from an undisclosed West Highland distillery with classic Islay whisky. It is selected and bottled by Adelphi, who are based at Ardnamurchan, at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose opens with orange marmalade and honeyed vanilla sponge. Peat soon arrives, adding savoury smoke, bacon frazzles and wisps of bonfire smoke on a salty sea breeze.
