Adelphi Private Stock Blend (70cl, 40%)

This is a blended Scotch whisky from Adelphi, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Single malts make up more than half of the blend, and it is chill-filtered with added colouring. It is described as soft and well balanced, without the sharper edges of grain whisky. On the nose it is full, soft and fragrant, with honey, warm fruit and light peat. The palate is soft and full-bodied, with warm caramel and nut notes, ripe fruit and well-integrated smoke and salt, followed by a very mild, pleasant finish.
