Adelphi Private Stock Peated Cask is a blended whisky bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Its core is a firm base of malt from a West Highland distillery, which Adelphi leaves unnamed, combined with a classic Islay whisky.
The character is smoky, described as full but elegant.
Adelphi says it looks for the very small group of casks that produce the finest whiskies, judging them on rarity and maturity but above all on flavour.
