This is a 15-year-old Teaninich bottled by Adelphi from cask 706546, a first fill oloroso sherry hogshead. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2026 at 59.4%, and the cask yielded 271 bottles.
The first fill oloroso steers the malt towards dark, spicy notes of cola, citrus, black cherry and vermouth.
The nose is lively and spicy, with cola sweets, pink grapefruit zest, juniper, Angostura, pink peppercorns, dried ginger and a hint of Negroni. The palate is dark and indulgent, with Italian vermouth, balsamic reduction and black cherry. The finish is long, sweet and savoury, with notes of forest floor.
