Adnams Rye Malt is an English rye whisky made from a mash bill of 75% rye and 25% East Anglian malted barley. It has been matured for at least five years in new French oak, and it has won Best English Rye at the World Whiskies Awards three times.
The nose brings Christmas cake spices and candied fruit, marzipan, vanilla, chocolate and black peppercorns. On the palate there is spicy rye bread, raisin fudge, honey and hedgerow fruit, followed by a long finish of pepper, coffee and honeyed sweetness.
