Land Cask is a ten-year-old Scottish single malt from Aerstone, one of the newer projects from Grant's. It matures for ten years in wooden casks before bottling and comes in a 70cl bottle.
Its character is built around peat, tar and smoke, a combination that runs from the nose through to the palate.
The colour is a clear gold. The nose is deep with peat, tar and smoke, and citrus appears towards the end. The palate opens on peat, followed by a gentle sweetness, and the finish is long.
