Agitator – 2018 Pioneer Collection (57.7%)

This is a Swedish single malt from Stockholm's Agitator distillery, bottled at 57.7% for the Pioneer Collection from Berry Bros. & Rudd. The collection highlights spirits made with sustainable methods, and every spirit in it is produced climate-neutrally at its home distillery. Agitator works with vacuum distillation and constant experiments with yeast, barley and wood, treating energy efficiency as part of quality. The palate brings new leather, wafer biscuits and garden bonfire, with a pleasant maritime backbone. Smoke and dried fruit linger.
