Aglianico del Vulture DOC Bariliott Paternoster

Aglianico del Vulture DOC by Bariliott, signed Paternoster, expresses the volcanic character of Basilicata. The Aglianico grape is grown on fertile lava-origin soils, giving this red an imposing structure and a deeply mineral character. After a long fermentation, the wine is aged in wooden barrels, which soften the tannin and add refined aromatic complexity. In the glass it is intense ruby, with aromas of ripe red fruit, spices and light smoky notes. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied, with a pleasant persistence. It pairs with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
