Amador Double Barrel is a rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It spends 3 years in new charred American oak barrels, which give flavours of baking spices, blackberry and chocolate.
The whiskey is then finished for 9 to 12 months in Port barrels, which add further vanilla notes and a velvety mouthfeel. The character of each barrel is then blended together.
