Amaro Black Balsam (70cl)

Amaro Black Balsam is a traditional Baltic amaro from Riga Balzam, produced in the Latvian region of Riga. It is made from a secret blend of more than 24 herbs, roots and spices, infused and distilled to give a deeply aromatic character. The aroma opens with intense bitter herbs, balsamic notes, spice, liquorice and citrus. On the palate it balances bitterness and sweetness, with earthy notes and a light smoky touch. Ageing in wooden casks gives softness and a full, enveloping body. It can be served neat at room temperature or chilled, and used in cocktails.
