An Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG from Lamberti with an intense yet elegant character. The nose recalls dried dark fruit, cherry in spirit and plum, alongside bitter cocoa, tobacco and light sweet spices, with a warm, soft impression. On the palate it is full-bodied, with present but well-integrated tannins and a structure that supports a long finish; savouriness balances residual sweetness. It pairs with braised meats, game stews, aged cheeses and dark chocolate desserts. Serve around 16-18°C and decant if possible to let the bouquet open; it also suits further ageing in the cellar.
