Andersen Winery Sigrid (11.5%)

Sigrid is a dry sparkling apple wine made in Denmark from late-harvested Ingrid Marie, Jonagold and Belle de Boskoop apples. The cool nights and long light days of the Nordic climate give the fruit a long ripening period. The must ferments over the winter at low temperature, then goes through a second fermentation in the bottle. It is aged for at least 24 months before release. Serve it chilled, as an aperitif or alongside fish, shellfish, poultry and white meat.
