Angel's Envy – 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye Caribbean Rum Cask 2026 (75cl, 55.8%)

Angel's Envy 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye is a Louisville rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 55.8% ABV (111.6 proof). It was distilled in 2013 and 2015, then matured for more than a decade in new charred American white oak and Caribbean rum casks. The pairing began by chance. Barrels intended for the distillery's Finished Rye were left in the rum casks two years beyond the usual finishing period, and Master Distiller Owen Martin chose to keep them maturing. It is the brand's first age-stated cask strength rye, released in an edition of 10,800 bottles for the 15th anniversary of the Cask Strength program. The nose offers Medjool date, brown sugar and vanilla. On the palate come candied ginger, rye spice and rum-soaked pound cake, and the finish brings molasses, tropical fruit and old oak.
