Angel's Envy – Cellar Collection Volume 6 Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Peach Brandy & Toasted Oak Barrels (75cl, 53.2%)

Angel's Envy Cellar Collection Volume 6 is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled at 53.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, distilled in Kentucky between 2014 and 2018 and aged for 8 to 11 years before finishing. It is the first in the annual limited-edition Cellar Collection to use two finishes. Some of the rye spent 15 to 23 months in peach brandy barrels and some 6 to 12 months in toasted oak barrels, and the two were then blended. No flavouring is added; the peach character comes from the casks. The nose is ripe stone fruit, baking spice, vanilla and oak. The palate brings peach, caramel, cinnamon and rye spice, and the finish is long, with lingering oak and orchard fruit.
