Angels' Nectar PX Sherry Cask Edition is a six-year-old Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in former Pedro Ximenez sherry barriques, which were bought for this bottling directly from a bodega in Spain and filled at a distillery in Perthshire in 2017.
The casks give a lively, sweet, sherried dram with a bronze colour.
On the nose the spirit comes through first. The palate has the sweetness of royal icing, with dried raisins and mixed peel.
