Archie Rose – Rye Malt Whisky (70cl)

Archie Rose Rye Malt is an Australian whisky made from malted rye and malted barley, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in virgin American oak casks, air-dried for 36 months, in the coastal air of Sydney. The distillery chose malted rye over the more commonly used unmalted rye. It was named World's Best Rye Whisky at the World Whiskies Awards 2020. Tasting notes describe spiced custard, ginger, stone fruit and baked apple pie, with a fresh herbal finish that lingers.
