A single malt made in Sydney by Archie Rose, created in collaboration with co-owner Chris Hemsworth and bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It is made from Australian heirloom and aromatic roasted barley malts. Maturation took place in Australian apera fortified wine casks as well as European and American oak casks.
The nose offers slow-roasted pecan, chocolate praline, blackberry compote and wood-fired figs, lifted by dried mango and clove honey. On the palate are plum jam, roasted chestnuts, toffee, ripe pineapple and browned butter. The finish is dark chocolate with sea salt, meringue, marzipan and tropical fruit.
